Ali Griffith (they/them)

Ali, based in Oakland, CA, is an environmentalist by day, and roller derby player and cat dad by night. Inspired by physical storytelling, they are excited to return to the world of theatre after a long hiatus. You’ll often find Ali crafting, playing the drums, or giving you unsolicited facts about cats. They might even do some acting… if you put them on rollerskates.

Carli Hayes (she/they)

Carli Hayes is an educator, naturalist, and amateur athlete. For the past 15 years, Carli’s stages have been zoos, aquariums, gardens, parks, and museums, where they’ve leveraged storytelling, scientific inquiry, and exploratory play to connect people to place and examine what we owe to ourselves and to the world we inhabit. She hopes to bring that energy and connectedness to Mira, and is thrilled to be re-rooted in movement, music, and memory-making after so many years.

Sydney is a performer, producer, and arts educator, making community based work in the Bay Area for the last decade. They grew up dancing in a small Sacramento studio and met many of the Mira cast doing physical theater in high school. They're grateful to return to the stage with some fellow beloved alums, and looking forward to this new and continued investment in community-making and community art.

Kyle Cox  (he/him)

Kyle is what you might call a science nerd. Not really sure of how he ended up on the stage for How to Say Goodbye Everyday, he’s relearning how to lose his typical analytical mindset and simply ‘play’. When he’s not sitting at a computer doing statistics, you might find Kyle in the kitchen, out on a run, or playing with his cats. Besides HTSGED, Kyle’s creative endeavors include amateur DJing, being a Game Master in Dungeons in Dragons, writing poetry, quilting, and theory crafting Magic the Gathering decks.
